Kay Peer LaGree

 Kay Peer LaGree Kay Peer, daughter of Retta and Philip Peer, was born July 24, 1938 on her grandparents' farm near Hoisington, Kansas.

Kay grew up in the Riverside area of Wichita. After graduating from North High School in 1956, Kay attended Wichita State University, then known as the University of Wichita, where she pledged Alpha Tau Sigma social sorority which subsequently became a chapter of the national sorority of Delta Gamma. While attending WSU, Kay was also a member of Mortar Board Society.

Upon graduating from WSU in 1960 with a B.A. degree, Kay began her professional career working briefly for Murfin Drilling Co., Inc., before accepting a position with Gore Oil Company where she has been employed for the past 36 years and currently holds the position of Corporate Secretary.

Kay married Curtis D. LaGree in 1967. Curt, a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, who graduated from WSU in 1959 with a B.S. and M.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He was a supervisor with the Boeing Company for 33 years before retiring several years ago.

Kay has been an active member of Oil Secretaries Association and Delta Gamma Alumni Association as well as various other organizations.

In addition to being a devoted daughter, wife, and employee, Kay's outstanding qualities of thoughtfulness, loyalty, and generosity have made her a beautiful and treasured friend to countless others over the years.
