The Heroines

Cory Lukens

is honored with a Large Paver from Susan Fischer-Lukens.

Cory Lukens I am as proud of my daughter, Cory, as I can be. As she approaches adulthood I can see that she is turning into a beautiful and self-confident young woman. She is smart, she is thoughtful, and she has good common sense which is perhaps most important. As I watch her interact with friends, I can't help but admire her and hope that she is as happy as she seems.

I respect her for her efforts to make commitments and meet them. As she struggles to more completely define herself and to determine what she wants to do, I am sure she will do so with serious consideration and good judgment. I only want good things to come her way, though I know it is not a perfect world. And I look forward to seeing how the world unfolds for her. I wish for her love, good health, a little luck perhaps, and lots and lots of laughter. To me she is already a Heroine and truly my pride and joy, and that is why I am honoring her in the Plaza.
