   Born Caroline Mary Cook on August 2, 1924, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After completing Arlington High School, Caroline graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. While in training she met Charles Wilson, they married in 1947 and had three children, Cynthia, Charles Jr. and Christopha. Charles was career Army which took them to Alaska, Germany and Washington, D.C. Caroline moved to Kansas in 1987.
    Caroline always felt that education was very important. This was instilled in her children from a very early age. She had to put her formal education on hold to raise a family, but continued to pursue higher education. At the age of 80, she finally attained her life long dream of a college degree. In December of 2003 she graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of General Studies.
