Margery Enoch enriches those around her with caring attitude, kindness, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help wherever she is needed.

When her husband don Enoch was elected Mayor of Wichita in 1969, as First Lady of our city, Margery promoted Wichita as a quality city to live in, and a good place to raise families.

While raising four children, helping with the family business,she always had time to give to volunteer activities. She served as President of the PTA, was an active leader in the YWCA, and a leader at the First United Methodist Church. She is an active member of Soroptimist International of Wichita for 36 years. She strongly believes a good education is the way to success for young people. She became Chairperson of Youth Citizenship Awards, awarding city-wide recognition to outstanding high school students. She was co-founder of the Soroptimist Vo-Tect Scholarship Program, and, also, a co-founder of the Wichita State University Scholarship Endowment Program that supports and assists head of household women in attaining their degrees. In addition, she has served as Chairwoman of the Kansas Diabetes Association, has been a long time volunteer at Wesley Hospital and was awarded a 4,000 hour pin, and is currently a volunteer for Music Theater of Wichita.
